Ah so you are at the correct client? Sorry It sounded like you were getting the error when you tried patching to the correct client. "patching manager" was making me think the patcher itself wouldn't patch the client.
What are you trying to do when you get that error?

so i downloaded the uo gold that has all the expanisons and the 8th age and patched to the right patch, load up connect uo 2.0 and wait for patches to loal up for the sever and when i hit play nothing happens

i didnt have luck with uo gold,try downloading mondains legacy tons of sites to get it for free it worked for me

I'm sure Cral did exactly what I did and not check the download before posting the link (I did this in another thread quite recently) but HERE - THIS LINK will get you the UOML download. Download.cnet.com either no longer has the UOML download, or no longer has it for non-members. As a non-member, it does exactly what priss says and has a 404 error, but maybe it works for those who have an account, no idea. |

i downloaded that and patched to right patch but i got patching manager reporting error map0.mul could not find part of path ' c:\ progrm files(x86)\ea games\ ultime online 2D client\gumpidx.mul`. just dont know what is wrong. i dont see how im am missing a part of the game. i know i am being a pain but i liked playing on ur sever.

with the exception of the download that you got from Kev's link, Delete your install and directories relating to UO.
Once you've done that start with a fresh install. IF the install is higher than 6.0.1.6 (you can check when you open up a client it's at the bottom like i said in a earlier post), TELL US and we'll send you a copy of our client.exe WITH instructions on what to do.

i have done that and my patch is at 6.0.1.3 patch 50.

NOW pick a method to connect. There's 3 on the connecting board to try and connect.
Pick the one that suits you and try and log in. Let us know how it goes.

Well since everyone is talking here, i thought i'd slip in that my comp has broken down too (again) ordered some new parts on internet today so dunno when they will be delivered.
