Why should the Asian spawn give bad karma when you kill it? seems to me it should be like any other target the player spawn...
I like a Glorious title so I hate to do the Asian Champ, but I like the possibe rare drops as well...

In most Asian mythological systems, most supernatural creatures are good-aligned, even if they enjoy slaughtering millions of people a few times a day. The only "evil" creatures are those that were created by powers intent on destroying the "good" guys. In other words, daemons, etc. That's why you see Revenant Lions and Serpentine Dragons as pretty benevolent-looking (if strange) creatures but they're wildly aggressive and murderous.

"good-aligned" I can see this but as soon as they agress someone or something, their karma shift should be to negetive, ergo, leaving the attackee as either neutral or gaining good karma...
If I do an act that makes me grey, the old style UO gave you negetive karma for your actions... As In stealing, snooping, attacking others, etc... Therefor the Asian spawn that makes an agressive act toward players and their pets should be negetive karma or at the very least neutral no gains or losses...

I can't dictate how Asian mythology should work in UO but I'm afraid that if a celestial creature decides to murder countless innocents, it's not viewed as an act of evil in those faiths and I guess EA thought there should be more aggressive good creatures, so they took advantage... and at the same time appeal to the huge Asian playerbase.

If it's not an evil act on their part, then defending ourselves from the should not either...

But, like in ANY other religion, any deity-like being that performs an evil act is often regarded as benevolent despite any chaotic or harmful actions taken.
Celestial beings and mortals are held to different laws, and in the bastardized form of Shinto that we take part in on Samurai Empire, a good celestial being (ie serpentine dragon) can kill all the people it wants but still be revered as good. To attack one is bad. To be ignorant enough not to worship it is bad (and usually ends with it eating you). But to kill one? Bad for karma, to say the least. And would probably make you a prime target for all those celestial nukes we refer to as meteors.

Ok well if you are talking about the Tokuno Champ near the Valor Shrine, their karma is all su, RunUO 2 has negative for all of them, and every RunUO 1 script I have seen for them has negative as well). However, UO Stratics doesn't specify if they have positive or negative karma, it just gives levels.
Of course none of that matters here, because the scripts are the way the scripts are, and I seriously doubt Geezer will change them simply because it's very easy to get Glorious right back after going Dread. Just do a different champ, except for the Spirituality Champ of course (all good aligned creatures).
