Color Coding System
Green = Hyperlink
Yellow = File or Directory
Orange = Buttons in UO Gateway
Red = Very Important Information
This will be a short and hopefully simple guide on updating your patch files whenever the patch files are updated. Both methods assume you already have UO and any connection programs you use installed and working. It also assumes that you already have the previous patches installed. You'll also need to close out any UO clients you have open while doing either of these steps.

If You Use RAZOR
*NOTE: Since Razor runs off your Ultima Online installation files directly, you'll simply have to replace your current files with the new ones.
If You Use CONNECTUO DESKTOP
*NOTE: There's a little bit more work involved here, but that's the price you pay for not having to override your installation files.
If You Use UOGATEWAY
If you're still using UOGateway, I don't think we can help you any. If there is a UOGateway expert user still playing here and can offer any help, PLEASE DO
The other UOG users would much appreciate it I'm sure. Until then, I'm sorry guys, I don't know what to tell you about updating it. There's not even enough lines in the custom shard thing for all the patch files (only 4 and one local that I see).

- Once you download the patch files from the link above, un-rar them into your Ultima Online directory, which if you use a stock install should look something like C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Ultima Online\, but may be some variation of that. It will probably ask you to override the files already there, and I suggest making backups of them first just in case something goes wrong.
- Once it's done un-raring all the files, you should be all set to play.
If You Use CONNECTUO DESKTOP
*NOTE: There's a little bit more work involved here, but that's the price you pay for not having to override your installation files.
- When downloading the patch files from the link above, I suggest saving it directly into your C:\Program Files\ConnectUO Desktop\Servers\Mystical%20Unicorn\ folder, overriding any previous files (backing them up is a great idea as always), as the mupatch.rar file is needed.
- Once you have it saved there, back up any files you wish to and un-rar the mupatch.rar.
- Once it finishes, you should have all the correct, up-to-date files needed to see every custom thing we have. The server folder should look something like the picture below.
- I suggest restarting ConnectUO Desktop for good measure, then you should be ready to play.
