This is going to be a slow month as our main scripter will be having final exams, and us as staff are a little busy with some RL issues.
Updates This Month:
Updates This Month:
- A typo on the Voucher Stone has been fixed. (I have no idea how no one has noticed it since it was created over a year ago.)
- The Parry system has been changed significantly. Parry chance is now based off your Parry skill, your Tactics skill, your DEX, and your Stamina. The higher your Parry, Tactics, DEX, and Stamina, the better. Tactics and DEX can give your parry chance a small boost, however DEX can also lower your parry chance if you have low DEX. Stamina can only lower your parry chance. If you have 50% or less of your stamina, your parry chance will be lowered some, but your stamina will never cause your parrying chance to hit zero.
Another change to the Parry system is that you can now parry with a shield, a one-handed weapon, a one-handed weapon and shield, and certain two-handed weapons. If you are using a ranged weapon (such as a bow or crossbow) or just your fists, then your chance to parry will be incredibly low. - !mystats now lists your parry chance, and we've left it up to you to figure out what set ups and circumstances give what parry chance. The percentage it shows you is rounded.
- The Master of Power and the Master of the Arts are now both a little stronger than before.
- You can now recall and teleport in the hedge maze in Felucca.
- When you die in the Newbie Dungeon, you, your last corpse, and any pets you might have will be moved out of the dungeon to the entrance where you can resurrect and get yourself set to go back in.
- All new characters created should automatically have their chat turned on.
- The issue with Haidate not being visible when worn is because they were being worn with something on the OuterLegs layer, and the client has no coding to show haidate while something is equipped to OuterLegs (like a half apron, mystical belts, etc.). There's nothing we can do about it really, so you'll have to find a way to make do.
- Evolution Dragons and Evolution Unicorns have been fixed so that they don't infinitely gain stats. They will now hit a cap on all their stats.
- All creatures that can be controlled by players now have an extra option when single clicking them. It is at the bottom and it is labeled Combat. When you select this, you can alter how your pet fights. There are only 3 options for now, and those are Melee only, Melee & Magery (if your pet has magery), and Melee, Magery, & Necromancy (if your pet can has and can use necromancy). Experiment with these and you can find out what your pet is best suited for. Only the owner of a pet can alter their Combat settings and this does not work on Evolution Mercenaries.
- The Chat System's filters were updated a tinsy bit.
- The Name Verification script has been modified a little to hopefully keep people from making new characters with nasty names.
