Several people have disputed monster loot mechanics in the past, including myself, but this isn't monster loot. It's the loot in paragon chests. And the problem likely reccurs in treasure chests.
You LP the container and open it. Explosion, etc. etc. But then you see 5 piles of nightshade. Each has 50 or so in it. So you've not only got to get your spellcaster keys but you've got to grab all 5 piles. Or you trash all 5 piles. Whatever.
The point is that there's 5 piles of the same thing. If the loot generator makes more than one pile of the same thing, it should have a code to check the generated loot and combine piles if multiple piles exist.
[begin pseudocode] If nightshade items = >1, Sum count, delete nightshade, add new nightshade with sum count?[end pseudocode] Does that make sense?
