As it stands, it just took me two hive tools to collect all of my hive's honey. That's a cost of 20000 gold just to get 300 honey, which sells for 1 GP each! I just gave 20000 gold to make... 100 back? I knew that beehives weren't cost-effective at all, what with the exorbitant costs on the necessary items and the huge amount of potions needed just to keep the damnable thing alive (you'd think the honey would kill you since so many potions are constantly being used on the hive), but criminey. Just to have bees floating on my porch costs me a mage guild's ransom in regs, then to actually get the resources costs me a newbie's kidneys!
At the very least, I'd like to request that collecting honey be made the same way as collecting wax. When you hit the button, it collects as much as possible. If I have 100 bottles and 300 honey is on the hive, it grabs all of the honey. Just like hitting the wax button collects all of the raw wax. This way, I don't have to pay 20k just to get 100 gold in honey.
And yes, I might be able to get more gold for my money if I baked some cookies or something, but not much more considering the other resources I'd have to buy (since grain doesn't grow on MU like it does on OSI, thus forcing bakers to buy flour rather than milling their own).

Is anyone else aware that you only get 1 slumgum per use of the processing pot, no matter how much wax you process? If we got slumgum based on the amount of wax, maybe its sell cost would be nearly enough to amount to something.
I would say something about the amount it time required to process hundreds of wax in a pot that only handles 4 at a time, but I think that if anyone else cared, someone other than me would speak up.

I only have one hive and just keep it for the joy of watching the bees buzz around. Never stopped to figure the cost Roh. However, your mathematical info makes sense.

I only have one hive but I'd be happier if it didn't cost me so much just to operate it (with virtually no profit to be gained from it).

Don't know what NPC you're selling your honey too, but the beekeeper pays 750 gold per honey jar, which would bring 100 honey to 75000 which happens to be greater than 20000, so I won't be changing it.
As for this, it's actually based off how much wax you render at a time, but since you can only put 5 wax in a pot at a time (and you're supposed to be able to put in 10 at a time, so I'll be fixing that), the most slumgum you'll ever get is a random number from 1 to 1, however if you want I can make it harder so that you get more slumgum and less pure wax after I fix it to hold 10 total. When it can hold 10 you'll only get 2 slumgum at the most unless you want me to change it.

1 gold each is the baker's buying price. *shrug* Makes sense to sell honey to a baker rather than... back to a beekeeper... who doesn't need the honey.
Yielding less pure wax will be pointless; 2 slumgum per use will be fine.

Well I did miss the Baker when I was updating vendors, but now it's fixed and it will buy it for 750 gold just like the beekeeper.

I have a feeling that the price of cookies is about to skyrocket.
