I been wondering is there anyway to get more then one type of strong armor instead of aways using mystical? Make like 3 other sets so we can have like 4 sets to chose from? just an idea would be nice

Well... considering how much you can customize Mystical - being able to get basically any wearable item as Mystical and being able to change its name even - I'm not sure why you'd want to have a different kind, other than for different stats.
If that's the case and you want different stats, there here is an option for you: We can have new armor sets... and have each of them be geared for a specific purpose. For example, a mage set, a warrior set, etc.
However, if we do that... massive changes have to be made... First off, Mystical Armor and Weapons will have to be changed to have completely different stats. Then, we'd have to heavily change the ways such armor is acquired since it can't all come from Mystical Deeds since it wouldn't all be Mystical armor. Plus, it would suddenly make all the armor everyone has possibly not very useful at all.
In the end, I think it's too late in the game to change it. A better idea would be to make crafted armor able to compete (in some ways) with Mystical.

runuo has spellcrafting... might be hard to find 1.0 version

Ok so I've thought about it and as you've all agreed, more variety would be nice. And without using scripts already out there, I want to hear what YOU all think about re-working the entire equipment system to some degree. This won't make me popular i think but here goes... I was thinking that mercs can't use mystical armor but there should be armor sets one could collect from bosses and/or champs and if you have a complete set your merc would gain things that it really needs. And uhm maybe you could craft armor and weapons using special materials like runes, enchants scrolls and other magic stuff, you would gain these mats by mining and lumberjacking. They would be really rare but if used they made a better weapon or armor that one could get from crafting with a plat runic hammer. These were my ideas now let me have it

Yeah, boosting runic crafting might help with diversity.
Now I know the shard is a powershard, but I am thinking that the armor sets in existence should be nerfed some. That way, crafting and various armor sets have a real purpose. It would also help some armor/weapon stats have a real purpose again. For instance, most people have well over 100% Resistance in all 5 resistances. Of course nerfing gear would require some mobs to be nerfed a bit as well, but that's easily do-able. Another idea specifically for mercenaries would to let them wear only crafted gear. Which would help the crafting area of the game as well as make things a bit more challenging. Anyways, I am not going to implement anything after I hear everyone's thoughts, but I would definitely be on board to see things like more King Sets, making King Sets useful, making armor "upgradable", etc. POST YOUR THOUGHTS HERE!

Upgradeable armor would definitely be a plus, your crafter would mean a little more again and give ya something to work for. Also it would be nice if each dungeon King had their own distinct set of armor that not only would be good for those of us that collect but maybe give the sets some serious resists and other attributes that make it worth hunting the Kings to try and attain their sets.

Well, what if there was a king in which the staff summon in any place they please. Then, the players go looking for it with the 5 hints from a staff member. then the mob has atleast the same attributes as the harrower. or, [add Harrower. then go onto props. change the body type to a more appealing type. maybe mess with the hue, then ramp up the hit points it has and damage by 10k. and then when its killed, you get one piece of the armor each. It Has To Be Worth the kill. then the staff say, 'If you are smart, You will know sacrifice. If not, Then your Attribute is Greed.' Technically, it means they should give all the stuff to one person. the chosen one out of their party. This is sacrificing their equiptment to another. the greed part is that they keep the armor to themselfs. If they get the riddle wrong, then give them a skull of greed and take their armor/wep, depending on who wrongs it. Any Questions???
